Movie Games – developers of curio simulators such as Gas Station Simulator and the delightfully unhinged Drug Dealer Simulator – has released more footage of its upcoming foray into the trucking sim genre – Alaskan Truck Simulator.

Originally slated for a 2022 Q1 PC release with console versions arriving later in the year, Alaskan Truck Simulator has slipped down the schedules somewhat. However, the recent Spring Showcase at the Future Games Show has provided us with more details and footage of the game in action.

Following on from the successful formula employed by SCS Software’s Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator games, Alsakan Truck Simulator has players travelling through the varied landscapes of Alsaka – from treacherous ice roads to forest trails.

Also featuring changing seasons and a day/night cycle, the game focuses on other aspects of trucker life – filling up with fuel, buying provisions, cooking meals, and of course taking allotted breaks.

Set for release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, we’ll be sure to keep you updated when more news emerges.

Do you think this will be a solid alternative to SCS Software’s popular Truck SImulator games? Let us know in the comments below.
