Free Car Wash Update comes to Gas Station Simulator

The team behind Gas Station Simulator – a strategic sim where the goal is to fix up, run and maintain a rural petrol station – has just announced a free update to the surprisingly successful game.

Titled ‘Car Wash Update,’ the new content gives players the option to – you guessed it – add a car wash to their virtual gas station. The car wash is upgradeable, with a fully automated car wash being the end goal. To get there though, players will have to use a bit of elbow grease to level up, balancing the use of an adjustable pressure washer that constantly craves maintenance… a bit like my dad’s Kärcher after I’ve quietly returned it from a marathon slab-cleaning session.

“Low pressure? My monoblocks need doing after this!”

Gas Station Simulator was released on PC 15th September 2021 via Steam, becoming an enormous success for its developer, Kraków-based Movie Games. Having released similarly styled sims like Alaskan Truck Simulator and erm… Drug Dealer Simulator, indie developer Movie Games is set to release the slightly more palatable American Motorcycle Simulator at some point in the future.

I feel like a wash isn’t going to solve all this car’s problems…
