The SimRacing Expo returns to Frankfurt next week on 16th – 18th October.
As ever, a live stage will host new product reveals, keynotes with special guests and live sim racing tournaments. However, the format is being revamped in this year’s expo.
Dubbed ‘Premieres Friday,’ the opening day’s packed schedule will focus on new product reveals from the likes of Fanatec, Simucube and Moza, with plenty of surprises. Sim racing fans can expect as many as 12 world premieres throughout the day.
“You can expect some unbelievable exclusives that you will not have seen on social media. There will be no build-up for this,” South West Vision host Luke Crane teased in a recent Traxion Control podcast episode.
“If you want to hear the latest from some of the biggest sim racing companies out there, you have to either watch the broadcast or be there in Frankfurt.”
Kunos Simulazioni will also showcase Assetto Corsa Evo’s free-roam mode during a keynote hosted by the company’s Co-Founder and Executive Manager Marco Massarutto at 4 pm CEST. Fans can try the highly anticipated mode for the first time at the SimRacing Expo, where its public release date will also be confirmed.
After that, Saturday’s live stage will be a “story-telling day,” with a roundtable featuring content creators DaveCam, Rory Alexander and Jarno Opmeer revealing their sim racing journeys alongside other guest appearances.
Sunday’s stage, meanwhile, will conclude the event with live races, including the eNASCAR Euro Show Race and Rennsport.gg R1 Final. If you can’t make it in-person, all three days will be livestreamed on the SimRacing Expo’s YouTube channel.
