The release date for the public free roam launch will also be announced at the event.
Visitors to the SimRacing Expo Frankfurt 2026 will be able to test Assetto Corsa EVO’s long-awaited free roam mode ahead of release.
The confirmation follows a new keynote, where walk mode, tyre shops and time attacks were showcased for the first time. Also, both single and multiplayer will be available from launch.
A release window for what is billed as the ‘first iteration’ is not yet known. However, this will change when this elusive date is confirmed on stage at the upcoming event.
The free roam mode will also be playable on a dedicated Assetto Corsa booth, which includes “multiple dedicated stations on the showfloor”.
The SimRacing Expo Frankfurt takes place between 16th and 18th October 2026. Tickets are available in advance or upon entry.
Marco Massarutto, Co-Founder & Executive Manager, will be present, taking to the event’s live stage (viewable in person or streamed online) on Friday 16th October at 4 pm CEST.
