The SimRacing Expo will visit new uncharted territories next year, with a second show in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The SimRacing Expo Charlotte will happen between 22nd and 24th May 2026, according to the organisers South West Vision, and will sit alongside the existing Dortmund, Germany, event later in the year.
The event will take place inside the Charlotte Convention Center, the event space first opening in 1995 and under a 30-minute drive from the Charlotte Motor Speedway venue. This is set to be during the same weekend as the longest NASCAR Cup Series race on the calendar, the Coca-Cola 600.
The city has a strong motorsport presence, being home to the majority of NASCAR teams and the Haas F1 squad. NASCAR’s headquarters and the NASCAR Hall of Fame are also based in the area.

“Since we took over of SimRacing Expo in 2023 and secured the brand rights, it has been a long-standing dream to bring this unique platform, representing the SimRacing community, exhibitors, fans, content creators, and ourselves to the United States,” said Michael Wamser, Director of Business Development at South West Vision.
“With the Charlotte Convention Center and the city of Charlotte, we have found an exceptional partner who truly understands what the SimRacing Expo stands for and shares our passion for its future.
“This marks an exciting new chapter for SimRacing Expo on a global stage.”
The organisation’s next event is the SimRacing Expo Dortmund 2025 this October, and exhibitors at the German event can benefit from a preferential rate for participation in both SimRacing Expo events in 2026.
The South West Vision organisation team will be available for meetings at the upcoming Gamescom event. Its Media Lounge will be located in Hall 2.2 on Stand B020 – C021 from August 18th–22nd 2025.
