So, you’d like to visit the SimRacing Expo? And you’ve bought your ticket? Fantastic, now, here’s how to get to the event.
Event address
The 2025 SimRacing Expo is at Hall 3 of the Messe Dortmund event venue, which is in the Westfalenhallen suburb of Dortmund, Germany.
Messe Dortmund
Rheinlanddamm 200
44139 Dortmund
Germany
This is near the Signal Iduna Park, or Westfalenstadion – Germany’s largest football stadium, home to Borussia Dortmund.
Car parking
For those travelling by car, there is ample parking at the Messe, with space for approximately 8,800 vehicles. Simply navigate to the venue and follow signs for parking, where it costs €10 per day per car in any official area.
Electric car charging
For those travelling by a battery-electric vehicle, there are eight 11 kW chargers across four points located at the North Entrance of the Messe Dortmund, provided by MENNEKES. Payment is by card, following a QR code scan.
Two further similar chargers are located at the nearby Rote Erde stadium.

Travelling by subway and train
Several trains travel to the Dortmund Central Station from around Germany daily, and then it’s just a short subway ride from there to the event.
Dortmund’s U45 subway line has a stop in the Westfalenhallen area of Dortmund, a five-to-eight-minute walk from the Messe Dortmund venue. The line runs through the centre of the city, from Dortmund Central Station – just seven stops and 11 minutes between the station and the Westfalenhallen stop.
The U46 line will also visit the Westfalenhallen stop from other central Dortmund areas.
SimRacing Expo disabled access
The Messe Dortmund event venue, where the SimRacing Expo is located, is accessible for wheelchair users. There is an elevator up to the Hall 3 level.
For day tickets, there is a reduced rate for disabled visitors, and those accompanying them.
