Sim-Lab’s debut sim racing wheel base now has a name – the DDX TorqueSync.
First showing in an early prototype form at last year’s SimRacing Expo in Germany, the new devices have made further appearances at events such as the recent Sim Gaming Expo and content creator hands-on sessions.

Now, the final version is close, with two models expected: One outputting 26Nm of torque and another with an industry-leading 39Nm (up from the original target of 35Nm). The Dutch company has previously touted a ‘raw’ force feedback experience.
Alongside the name confirmation, a darkened teaser image looks to hint at an LED ring, here in a bright white colour near the steering shaft. While not confirmed, this could possibly feature a customisable colour.

In that image, you can just about make out the device’s all-new quick-release system, too, which appears to be unique compared to many contemporaries.
Sim-Lab is long established in the cockpit and seat market, and has made high-end steering wheels too – such as the (deep breath) Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Sim Racing Steering Wheel, which Traxion’s John uses as his current daily driver.
The DDX TorqueSync range now opens up the possibilities for further associated devices.
It has also confirmed that the final device will be unveiled in full on 17th October 2025, coinciding with this year’s SimRacing Expo in Dortmund, which runs from the 17th to 19th.
