The virtual competition for motorcycle fans, the BMW Motorrad Esports Challenge, has now entered its third stage.
Anyone with the Ride 4 video game on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S can take part in the time trial challenge, this time being held at the Algarve International Circuit near Portimão.
Each challenge takes place using the 2021 BMW M 1000 RR motorcycle – the first time the haloed ‘M’ badge has been attributed to a two-wheeled vehicle. As it happens, we have a gameplay comparison using the same bike around Suzuka in both Ride 4 and RiMS Racing.
Once you have registered online, prizes including a Helmet Street X, College Jacket Club, a BMW Motorrad bag and €50 gaming vouchers are up for grabs – the top-10 each receiving a reward.
If you’re up for the challenge, it’s open between 27th September and 3rd October and is the third and final event – so get riding!
