We spoke to Romain Grosjean for the latest episode of the Traxion.GG Podcast, covering his Andretti Autosport deal for the 2022 IndyCar season, his passion for sim racing and the future of his eponymous team, R8G Esports.
Listen as we discuss how he decided to back young talent through creating an esports team and hopefully one day creating real-world opportunities.
Grosjean is a keen following of racing esports and participates when his busy real-world schedule allows. Hear how he activity follows, supports and mentors the next-generation of racing stars.
With 181 Formula 1 race entries and 10 podiums under his belt – plus GP2, Auto GP and Formula 3 Euro Series titles – he moved into IndyCar in 2021, scoring a pole position and three podium finishes during a part-season.
For 2022, he moves to the DHL-backed Andretti Autosport #28 entry for a full season attack, including the Indianapolis 500.
This is the first episode of our fourth podcast season – so please subscribe for more episodes some very soon from the world of motorsport, video games, sim racing and esports, with a new episode releasing each Monday.
