Rocket League’s ‘Birthday Ball’ celebration ongoing until 12th July

From 28th June to 12th July, Rocket League is celebrating their eighth birthday with the return of the Birthday Ball celebration.

The 7th of July marks Rocket League‘s eighth birthday, as the game launched on that day back in 2015. To this day, Rocket League remains one of the most popular video game titles out there, with product updates and new content added constantly.

While not a racing game, we still appreciate it here at Traxion.GG. The Soccer-Car (or Football-Car if you don’t live in the United States) hybrid is one of the most popular esports as well, and a lot of their content updates revolves around cars and platforms we love, such as NASCAR, Formula 1, and everything else.

So, with that all in mind, we say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Rocket League! To celebrate their birthday, Psyonix has brought back what they call ‘Birthday Ball’, which is a celebration, more or less, that will include special game modes and rewards over the next two weeks.

Some of those game modes include Super cube, Beach Ball, and a host of other challenges. There are special items to unlock within the Item Shop, all themed with the Birthday Black and White color scheme. This started on the 28th of June and will last until the 12th of July.

“Get ready to celebrate the most important birthday in the entire world—the birth of Rocket League. Now’s the time to reminisce over eight glorious years of Soccar, and earn some stylish Challenge Rewards while you’re at it, including up to 300 Credits. Suit up with classy black and white noire gear from the Item Shop, and keep the party rolling with two Limited Time Modes

Birthday Ball is live from June 28 to July 12!”

Some of the added extra content you can add to your profile during the Birthday Ball celebration.

Like I said, the game just keeps pumping out new content. Just in the last two months, we’ve seen Rocket League add Bumblebee from Transformers, a licensed Nissan Silvia, Dominic Toretto’s new Fast X Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and of course, the droids you may have been looking for with Star Wars Droid cars.

Life is good in Soccar land, now eight years in the making. If you want to know more about Rocket League’s Birthday Ball celebration, visit the official website. Happy Birthday!
