Rocket League adding Star Wars content in time for May the Fourth

May the Fourth be with you! Rocket League announced on Monday (1st May) that their next piece of content will be based around the universe of Star Wars, specifically some of the most famous droids from the sci-fi series.

There will be four new packs chock full of content related to some of the most famous droids in the galaxy. The packs are centered around R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8 and K-2SO. The packs will all have have decals wheels for specific cars, and the R2-D2 and BB-8 packs (which are a little more expensive) will also have toppers.

These decals are specific to one car type, but the wheels and toppers can be mixed and matched with other Rocket League content that isn’t barred from mixing and matching, such as the NASCAR or Formula 1 content. Speaking of which, I wonder if a 2023 edition of both of those are in the works…

The two packs without toppers, which are the C-3PO and K-2SO packs, will cost 500 Credits in Rocket League currency. The other two with the toppers included are 800 Credits. For reference, it costs £3.75/$4.99 for 500 credits, £7.50/$9.99 for 1,100 credits, £18.75/$24.99 for 3,000 credits, or £37.50/$49.99 for 6,500 credits.
