Tonka toy enthusiasts rejoice! RoadCraft will receive a new DLC next month, with plans afoot to release a wrecking ball and two new expansions.

The team behind heavy plant sim RoadCraft has revealed what players can look forward to in the coming months, as a new DLC is set to arrive next month.

Saber Interactive’s game was a surprise hit when it was released earlier this year, garnering praise from several outlets, including Traxion. We enjoyed its combination of fun physics and riotous multiplayer, giving it a solid 8/10 as a result.

Check out what the future of RoadCraft looks like below.

RoadCraft Timberworks Pack DLC

The RoadCraft Timberworks Pack will release on the 2nd December, 2025, and will be free for owners of the game’s Rebuild Expansion DLC.

The new content adds three vehicles to the game, all of which are unsurprisingly focused on the logging industry. The Aramatsu Forester Neo Log Forwarder will provide a new way to pick up and transport timber, while the MTK Lesorub 2006 is a tractor-like tree harvester.

The Don 72 “Malamute”, on the other hand, is a new heavy-duty Scout vehicle replete with a cargo bay, which could prove handy for speedy object retrieval operations (if there’s a crane nearby, that is).

December update

A new update will also arrive alongside the Timberworks Pack, which includes bug fixes, additional steering wheel support and a new RoadCraft demo.

The demo allows prospective players to play the game’s first two levels for free, and includes four-player co-op.

Expansion 2 – coming in like a wrecking ball

RoadCraft’s second expansion pack is scheduled to arrive in March 2026, and will include two new maps, new missions and new vehicles, including one personally approved by Miley Cyrus*.

Little is known about the update, but Saber has strongly teased the fact that players will get access to a demolition ball – one of the game’s most requested features.

The implementation of a wrecking ball insinuates that a new destruction mechanic will be added to the game, as it’s currently not possible to destroy walls or buildings in the game. Here’s hoping we see some Battlefield 6-style carnage next year…

Expansion 3- truck mods

Even less information is known about RoadCraft’s third expansion, but truck modding is apparently on the cards alongside new vehicles and maps.

Vehicle mods have been available in the game’s sister title Snowrunner for some time already, adding longevity and variety to the game.

Given the sandbox nature of RoadCraft and its diverse game mechanics, the community is sure to come up with some imaginative contraptions when modding unlocks later in 2026.
