The SimRacing Expo (formerly known as the ADAC SimRacing Expo) returns later this year in October, and Traxion will once again be the event’s official media partner. In the run-up to the event, the organiser has announced a new esports competition, dubbed the ‘Road to SimRacing Expo Competition.’

Starting next week, iRacing will host the inaugural Road to SimRacing Expo Competition, with drivers competing in the BMW M2 CS Racing throughout the series.

Drivers will be split into PRO and AM classes. The top 25 drivers of the Time Attack with an iRating above 5.000 will be classified as PRO, while the top 25 with an iRating below 5.000 will be enter the AM class, with invites sent via the iRacing League System.

The first event kicks off on 7th July at 11 am BST / 12 pm CEST and ends on 20th July at the same time, with a time attack at Circuito de Navarra and fixed setups provided by the organiser.

After that, the season will feature three races, with tracks to be confirmed one day before each event:

  • Race 2: 26.08.2025
  • Race 3: 23.09.2025

The top three PRO and AM drivers will then be invited to compete in the final during the SimRacing Expo at Dortmund on simulators provided by Asetek SimSports. A prize pool has yet to be confirmed, and the championship is open only to European players.  

An exact date for the final has also yet to be confirmed, with the SimRacing Expo taking place between 17th and 19th October.
