Rennsport is continuing its push into community-made, modded, content, with the free release of a new fictional Swiss Alps track – Crest Da Cauras.
Created by prolific Assetto Corsa modder Tyrone Hesbrook, aka Nukedrop – who currently has over 10,000 Patreon members for his AC creations – it includes rolling hills, mountainous vista, banked corners and a tunnel.
It follows the Orchard Road Street Circuit, which was created in collaboration with the Legion of Racers.
The car list has expanded too, this time with an entry into the ubiquitous GT3 category in the form of the Aston Martin Vantage. This is a free car for all players – those who purchase the Founder’s Packs will not need to use their purchase token on this.
Powered by a twin-turbo 4-litre V8 engine, it received a significant ‘Evo’ upgrade earlier in 2024. This was used to great effect to win this season’s 24 Hours of Spa race.
This update also adds some smaller tweaks too, such as being able to race around the Hockenheimring at night and a huge list of bug removals.
The latest patch is available now, across both Epic Games and Steam storefronts for PC. It proceeds what is being touted as a significant update expected in December.
