A new gameplay mode in F1 Replays and new in-game content in the form of the Red Bull Miami GP livery are heading to F1 23 in July.

A new event type within the F1 World mode of EA SPORTS F1 23 is set to join the title in July. Announced by Electronic Arts on Thursday (29th June), players will soon have the ability to “re-write history” with F1 Replay events, allowing players to take part in a race that happened in the real-world set with replica Grand Prix races.

Also, the Oracle Red Bull Racing special livery that was showcased in the 2023 Miami Grand Prix will be joining F1 23 to be utilized in F1 World and My Team areas of the game. This livery can be unlocked by completing a competitive lap time in the F1 World Austria Grand Prix Hot Lap Challenge.

Just by logging in during the Austrian Grand Prix race weekend, F1 23 players can also unlock the helmet that Max Verstappen wore at Miami as well.

This is all part of EA’s plan to deliver “fresh content” through the year, which also will include other scenarios to partake in, as well as Multiplayer events, Community Grand Prix races and more Hot Lap Challenges after this weekend’s Austria challenge. We can expect more special edition race content through the year as well.

F1 Replays is the latest addition in terms of new ways to play. Players can hop into any of the 20 drivers on the grid following that race’s event weekend to see if they can do it any better. Want to get Fernando Alonso back into the winner’s circle? Or is Lando Norris due for glory? You can make that happen in F1 Replays.

Expect the new content and features to drop later in July of 2023.
