Real Racing 3’s first 2025 update is a mixed bag

Real Racing 3’s first update of 2025 is nearly upon us, and it’s set to introduce an interesting blend of road and racecars to the mobile title. 

Although the car choice lacks a truly ‘new’ model to tame, developer EA has provided something for everyone, with build 13.1 adding the Bugatti Centodieci, McLaren Speedtail, Nissan Z GT4 and Ford Focus to the free-to-play title. 

An array of diverse new events will also be introduced over the next few weeks; check out all the details below.

McLaren Speedtail 2020

McLaren’s distinctive long-tail supercar was the Woking firm’s first-ever hybrid-powered ‘Hyper GT’ car. Thanks to its aero-friendly shape, it was – and still is – McLaren’s fastest car, with a top speed exceeding 250 mph. 

It’s a nightmare to park at Tesco, though.

Nissan Z GT4

Nissan’s latest Z car sadly skipped European shores altogether when released in 2022, but the GT4 racecar version is at least eligible to race here. For the moment, however, the Z GT4 is confined to the Japanese Super Taikyu series and the Pirelli GT4 America championship.

Bugatti Centodieci

Bugatti’s bonkers Centodieci was released in 2022 with styling heavily based on the French firm’s equally bonkers EB 110 ‘90s supercar. Thankfully, with 1,600 bhp the Centodieci has the performance to back up its outlandish looks.

Ford Focus ST

The Ford Focus ST is somewhat outgunned in this company, but it’s still a superb road car. Although it’s front-wheel-drive, the ST has a trick limited-slip differential which makes it rewarding to drive and capable of embarrassing much more expensive models on back roads.

New events

In our opinion, the pick of the new events is undoubtedly Rally Ahead!, which utilises the modern generation of WRC rally cars. Hybrid contenders from Hyundai, Ford and Toyota are selectable, with 67 Gold and M$67,000 up for grabs for successful players.

A plethora of other new events will also drop in the game’s latest season, with all the new time trials and bonus races listed below.

Real Racing 3’s 13.1 update will go live on the 14th of January, 2025 on Android and iOS devices.
