RaceRoom’s On The Edge Pack launches 5th April

Following the announcement of RaceRoom Racing Experience‘s first major content addition for the year, the On The Edge Pack has been dated.

Releasing on Wednesday 5th April, the three-car pack includes:

  • KTM X-Bow GT2/GTX
  • McLaren 570S GT4
  • Mazda RT-24P DPi

Regarding the RT-24P, it marks the second Mazda to be added to the service of late, following December’s The Drivers’ Pack which included a racing-spec MX-5. The DPi is also set to be quicker than most cars new to the platform, with developers KW Studios referencing the existing Audi R18 and electric VW ID.R as yardsticks.

The prototype classes on the platform are slim pickings – and which category it fits within remains to be confirmed – so more downforce-heavy endurance racers are welcome. A mixture of former real-world and new fictional liveries will also be available.

As for the KTM, the GT2 version will fit within the existing category, but the GTX edition – which is minus the engine tune required for SRO-sanctioned events – will be included within a dedicated class.

Pricing has yet to be confirmed for the complete pack or individual vehicles.
