RaceRoom's Drivers Pack is now available

One of our most anticipated downloadable content packs in sim racing, as we head towards the end of 2022, is now available.

RaceRoom Racing Experience‘s Driver’s Pack is finally here. Featuring four cars and an obscure French track, it’s our cup of tea.

All five pieces of content are available separately too, should you fancy only one or two elements of this pack, but when purchased together, there’s a handy saving.

Circuit de Charade

Old-school thrills: First look at Charade for RaceRoom

A venue that flows through the Auvergne countryside, Charade requires a defined fluency to perform a quick lap. And knowing where to go, as there’s essentially no other contemporary driving experience that offers this in an official capacity, and thus it may be unfamiliar.

As much as we love Spa-Francorchamps, the Nürburgring and Laguna Seca, here’s something different.

Praga R1

Jimmy Broadbent's Goldie 2.0 coming to RaceRoom's latest Drivers Pack DLC

This pocket-rocket is like a miniaturised LMP3 car, with a single-drive cockpit, aggressive aerodynamics and a buzzy Renault-derived engine.

Of course, those in the sim racing scene know that Jimmy Broadbent and Gordie Mutch used the Praga R1 to win the inaugural Praga Cup championship in the real-world season, and their livery is included alongside the rest of the grid – should you purchase the optional design pack.

You can listen to how they won that championship on our podcast episode below.

Mazda MX-5 Racing Cup

Date revealed for RaceRoom Drivers Pack DLC alongside MX-5 closer look

An ideal modern entry-level racing car, the spritely MX-5 has been used by other sim platforms as the starting point. Now, you can test it in RaceRoom too, across its unique tracklist.

Crosslé 9S

A retro Irish racing car that looks old, but isn’t. Its open-top design harks back to the beasts of Can-Am in the ’60s, but instead, it’s an approachable Ford-powered track day toy.

Crosslé 90F

Crosslé 90F RaceRoom

Another entry that looks like a historic, but instead is current. Crosslés are used a the Charade venue to train drivers, so this is a handy way of building up to an actual in-period classic single-seater.
