RaceRoom teases four ‘legendary’ tracks, including historic layouts

RaceRoom has confirmed four tracks are on the way soon, each branded ‘legendary’, but what they are remains unclear.

A teaser image, which precedes the full unveil at the SimRacing Expo Frankfurt later this week, appears to have a classic Spa-Francorchamps layout in the centre (main article image). It depicts the Bus Stop chicane, which was first introduced in 1981 before a significant overhaul in 2007.

With a historic theme to the car content – so far two Super Tourers, a Mini and an Abarth look to have been teased – it would therefore seem like a classic Spa variant is on the way, much like the classic Silverstone version already available for the sim racing title.

RaceRoom Laguna Seca

Bottom right of the image portrays Laguna Seca’s Corkscrew. It’s hard to tell from this particular teaser, but it appears the track limits and tyre wall are from an older era, so it could be a second ‘classic’ venue.

Top left is straightforward. This is the real-world Glasbachrennen hill climb venue, which debuted in RaceRoom last weekend for the FIA Esports European Hill Climb Cup. It’s a narrow 5.3km point-to-point route in Germany, and is very much a present-day location.

The fourth circuit is trickier to identify. Top right looks to be an airfield. A German tradition that ended in the 1990s (apart from Formula E), the nation was fond of using airports for temporary race circuits.

RaceRoom already offers Diepholz, so we think this could be Zweibrücken or Wunstorf, which would fit well with the Super Touring cars, as both were used for the STW competition in the 1990s.

The platform will release a Grid Talk keynote online during the SimRacing Expo 2026 Frankfurt on Friday 16th October, where the final details will be confirmed. It also has a dedicated booth at the event, plus a further talk on Saturday 17th October (11:30 am CEST) at the event.
