Could a second road car be on the way for the sim racing title?

Project Motor Racing teases Lamborghini Temerario for imminent unveil

Project Motor Racing, thanks to its publisher, GIANTS Software, will once again be present at the upcoming Gamescom event, with a public display.

This, in itself, isn’t particularly newsworthy. The Farming Simulator and PMR stewards have long showcased at the Cologne-based event, both in the B2C and B2B areas.

It’s the car that the sim racing title will showcase on its booth that piqued our interest. It’s a Lamborghini Temerario.

“GIANTS Software will also bring significant real-world horsepower to its stand,” said the Swiss company.

“The Case IH Steiger 715 Quadtrac represents large-scale agricultural engineering, while the Lamborghini Temerario highlights the high-performance automotive focus of Project Motor Racing.

“The towering tractor serves as an unmistakable landmark for the GIANTS booth, while both vehicles invite visitors to take photos and admire their impressive engineering.”

The Italian supercar, which replaces the venerable Huracán, features a hybrid V8 engine and, notably, isn’t in Project Motor Racing. Yet, at least.

Previously, PMR has showcased a real-world car that is in the sim, for example, the Le Mans-winning Audi R8 LMP.

Specifically, the press release about its Gamescom attendance does not refer to the GT3-specification race version of the Raging Bull.

If the road car does come to the platform, it will join the Praga Bohema on a scant list of non-track-oriented models. The car is also used within GIANT’s Gamescom promotional image.

Outside of this Lamborghini, improvements to virtual reality, native triple screen support and a rebuilding of the Hypercar category are expected in upcoming updates.

Gamescom runs between 26th-30th August 2026 and Project Motor Racing will be in Hall 6.

    1. I agree, would be a little odd if it’s just the road-going model
