iRacing has revealed that the Porsche 963 LMDh will be coming to the subscription-based sim racing service in its upcoming Season 4 build, projected to begin in September.
The prototype car, which runs in the GTP class of the IMSA series, is the third LMDh car to be confirmed in iRacing after the release of the BMW M Hybrid V8 and Cadillac V-Series.R.
The announcement follows a teaser image released by iRacing earlier this month, which apparently hinted that all four of the cars represented in IMSA’s GTP class would be coming to the service.
Following the Porsche reveal, the Acura ARX-06 will be the final car of the 2023 season yet to be officially confirmed. However, the Lamborghini SC63 LMDh is set to hit WEC and IMSA racetracks next year, making it another potential iRacing GTP contender.
The Porsche 963 has already been announced to arrive in both Le Mans Ultimate and Rennsport but it looks like iRacing will trump both by including it next month.
