Argentinian auto racing simulator PISTA Motorsport will be released in 2026, with developer REG Simulations recently unveiling a full road map for the sim.

Additionally, the studio has announced that the Formula 2 Argentina car will be added shortly for free, slotting into the game just above the currently available Formula 3 Metropolitana.

The new car forms the basis of Argentina’s top rung of single-seater racing, otherwise known as Formula 2 Argentina. Although similar in name to the FIA-approved Formula 2 car, the Argentinian equivalent is an altogether different beast, looking far more bulbous and featuring much less aero grip than its World Championship cousin.

In our hands-on piece, we thought PISTA showed some promise but was quite a way off from being a polished product. However, with a comprehensive development road map now released, we can see REG has ambitious plans for its first title, including a host of new cars and tracks; plus drag racing, rallying and career modes.

Interestingly, the road map also shows that REG intends to allow its community to present PISTA mods in-game, following the likes of Rennsport and Assetto Corsa EVO in this regard.

Check out the full road map below.
