Image Power and their partners at the Game Formatic studio announced on Monday (26th June) that their title Offroad Mechanic Simulator finally has a release date, next month on the 24th of July.

The half driving, half mechanic game has been in a prologue since the 3rd of April this year, but this, the full title, is finally ready to ship on Steam for PC players in just about four weeks.

Last year, Offroad Mechanic Simulator had a breath of life when the dormant game was scheduled for a playtest in the middle of 2022. We played that preview build, stating there was still some work to be done but the game was pretty ok for the slice provided. The game was originally announced back in 2020.

In the title, players will build their offroad machines, test them across all sorts of terrain, repair, replace, and solve whatever challenges that they may face. Buy parts, install them, and then take them for a test drive!

There’s set to be a career mode with missions, random assignments to take on, and multiple environments and tracks to put the cars upon. We kind of compared it to a mix between SnowRunner and Car Mechanic Simulator last year, and that still seems to be the case.

There’s no set price for it just yet, but many of their other simulators go from $9.99 up to $19.99. You can still get in on the Prologue too, that’s still a free download.
