Following the Xbox online store listing Ride 5 as ‘playable on Xbox One’, it has been confirmed that this is not the case.

The road motorcycle-base riding video game is set to be the first by developer Milestone to focus exclusively on the current PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S hardware.

During Ride 5’s reveal earlier this month, it was clearly stated that the only platforms it would be available for would be the aforementioned PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, joining the likes of Need for Speed Unbound and Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown in jettisoning the PS4 and Xbox One.

However, then the Xbox.com listing sparked a debate that it would indeed be coming to the older systems.

However, Traxion.GG approached publisher PLAION, who confirmed, alongside Milestone, that this was simply an error on the Xbox store. The game is indeed for current-generation hardware only.
