A smaller patch for World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing went out on Thursday (10th November) and it’s basically another one that’s been pushed out in preparation for the future of the title.
While the patch includes a couple pieces of new content int the form of selectable drivers, the big point of the patch is to get the game ready to receive its next DLC pack, which will be a Big Block Modified series and the Lucas Oil Speedway venue in Missouri.
Per a tweet from iRacing‘s Executive Vice President Steve Myers, those pair of new DLC pieces will be expected to launch before the “end of the month”, which currently is November, but no official date has been confirmed just yet.
James McFadden is the big name added to the roster of drivers in the 410 World of Outlaws Sprint Cars. Another Platinum driver to choose from, the Australian driver McFadden drives for Roth Enterprises and has five career wins, his most recent coming last month at Lakeside Speedway.
There’s also another unnamed driver in the patch notes that’s been added to the UMP Modified roster. Other fixes include adding I-55 races to all series calendars and for Xbox players, a rare bug preventing saving should be resolved.
