Following last week’s mysterious teaser, MOZA Racing has unveiled a new licensed Lamborghini steering wheel.
Developed from real CAD models, Moza’s new flagship sim racing wheel replicates the real wheel used in the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12.
Limited to just 80 real-world examples, the Essenza SCV12 is a track-focused hypercar with a 6.5-litre V12 producing 820 horsepower, making it the most powerful naturally-aspirated V12 the Raging Bull has ever developed.
Made from machined aluminium alloy, this is a premium wheel for hardcore enthusiasts, with a curved carbon fibre faceplate, a 4.3-inch touchscreen LCD display providing real-time telemetry data, suede leather grips made from the same materials as real Lamborghini Squadra Corse race cars, and aluminium alloy paddles.
Moza’s Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is powered by a quad-core processor providing “smooth and responsive visuals” and features ten LED shift indicator lights.
The button layout features 72 programmable inputs, comprising eight round buttons, four thumb knobs, and four 12-position rotary knobs. Inspired by real racing wheels, an aluminium alloy racing grade quick release allows for easy removal.
Using MOZA’s Pit House software, users can personalise the experience by customising the RPM LED colour, brightness, and timing, and configure the dash display. To ensure a high-quality bar, Moza says the wheel frame and buttons have “undergone up to a million rigorous test cycles.”
The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is compatible with all current MOZA wheelbases like the R5, R9, and R12, or it can be with third-party bases using MOZA’s Universal Hub Kit.
Unsurprisingly, Moza’s new Lamborghini-inspired sim racing wheel has a steep price: prepare to pay an exorbitant €1,399 / £1,299/ $1,299, with shipping expected to start in early November.
Moza’s latest wheel marks the next phase in its partnership with Lamborghini, which saw Moza sponsor Lamborghini’s ‘The Real Race – Super Trofeo’ esports tournament.
