Moza unveils its innovative MotoGP-branded motorcycle handlebar controller

Moza has finally revealed its first officially licensed MotoGP motorcycle controller at Gamescom 2026.

After hinting at it a year ago at Gamescom 2025, Moza has created a set of handlebars with front brake and clutch levers, several face buttons, and a twist throttle. 

Interestingly, instead of a motorcycle chassis to sit on, the handlebars are a standalone item that couples to any Moza direct drive wheelbase, with additional support bars to mount an optional dash, like the CM2 HD Racing Dash.

This means players can experience force feedback through their handlebars with between 3.9 Nm and 25 Nm of torque.

The bars have 10 backlit buttons and a centre LED rev strip, with an analogue thumb lever below the left bar acting as a rear brake.

Throttle, brake and clutch lever positions can be adjusted alongside handlebar width and angle, with a D-pad and a five-way switch boosting mappable inputs further.

The saving grace of Moza’s MotoGP handlebars is the dual riding modes, meaning the handlebars can simulate leaning and steering concurrently, helping players counter-steer realistically in the Ride and MotoGP series of games.

Additional compatiibiluty has been confirmed for Live For Speed’s legion of motorcycle mods, Assetto Corsa, TrackDayR, BeamNG.drive and The Crew Motorfest with support for other games currently in development.

Handlebar levers can be swapped out for real motorcycle components, too, but for the full motorcycle experience players will require custom-built third-party full-size simulators. The new motorcycle controller is expected to be released before the end of the year.

Moza’s Gamescom has so far yeilded announcements for four new licensed steering wheels from Ford, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, with the Chinese hardware manufacturer also unveiling its Pedal Haptic Feedback Kit for extra immersion.
