Motorsport UK, the national membership organisation and governing body of all four-wheeled motorsport in the UK, has announced its much-anticipated esports hub is available to use from today (27th January 2023).

The Motorsport UK Esports Hub is a centralised location where information on sims, equipment and organised online racing can be found. The governing body has partnered up with sim racing communities and brands to offer product and service discounts as part of an annual esports membership package costing £24.99. This will include early access to Motorsport UK esports community events.

Membership to the Motorsport UK Esports Hub is free, however, and provides access to a wealth of sim racing information including equipment recommendations and advice on where to race. Members can feel reassured about their online safety and privacy as Motorsport UK has done its due diligence on every partnered organisation.

“The Motorsport UK Esports Hub will make understanding esports simpler and easier to navigate, becoming an aggregator of the great ongoing work across multiple organisations within the community,” said Paul Crawford, Motorsport UK’s Esports Manager.

“The Hub features extensive and detailed insight on how to get started and what to look out for alongside exclusive benefits to off-set participation in esports,” he continued.

Motorsport UK also plans to hold more community-based sim racing events in future, like its inaugural Buttkicker Britcar 24hrs of Silverstone held in November 2022. Motorsport UK also plans to run a second season of its officially sanctioned ROKiT British F4 Esports Championship, catering to the more professional side of sim racing.
