We’ve been looking forward to this update now for some time. Reiza Studio’s PC racing simulation, which uses the MADNESS game engine, is arguably at its best when it’s implementing often forgotten or classic circuits.
Its latest update is no exception. You’ve most like driven the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in a game or sim before, but in Automobolista 2, the latest DLC pack not only includes the current layout but six additional versions too.
There’s the Junior, 1971 GP, 1971 Junior, 1971 10km, 1971 10km without chicane and 1991 GP layouts included. The 10km versions include a combination of the circuit and the banking – these days only used for rallying. The 1991 layout features a different layout to the Variante de Rettifilo with four corners in total, creating a more flowing combination than its current setup.
The Monza Pack is available now for £7.99/€8.99/$9.99.
The rest of the title has also been updated via a free patch, with the headlines including native Thrustmaster SF1000 wheel display support, changes to historic weather data, revised pre-event leaderboards, adjustments to various car tyre treads and significant changes to the AI’s behaviour.
The full changelog for the update is below and the team confirmed that the next car addition will be the BMW 2002. The changes are significant and the new Monza additions extensive. Let us know in the comments below if you’ll be trying Automobilista 2 later today.
