The American Truck Simulator juggernaut continues, as developer SCS Software announces more updates in progress for the game. These will include an all-new interstate, revisions to an existing truck and the addition of more custom city intros.
Montana DLC v1.46 update
Off the back of its successful Montana DLC release, SCS has revealed that it plans to add a new highway to the game alongside its v1.46 update. U.S. Route 20 is a highway which runs horizontally across the northern USA, starting on the west coast in Oregon, passing through Montana, Ohio and several others before finishing on the east coast in Massachusetts.
The route will also allow American Truck Simulator (ATS) players full access to Yellowstone National Park from its surrounding state DLC, namely Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, helping connect another large portion of the country in videogame form.
In addition, the new highway will add an extra viewpoint, allowing virtual truckers a better view of Yellowstone and the village of West Yellowstone.

Western Star 57X truck updates
The recently added Western Star 57X truck has become a popular choice among ATS enthusiasts, and SCS and its partners at Western Star Trucks have devised some additional content, including new roof and side fairings, twin stack vertical exhausts and… Christmas lights!
