As the 2022-23 Le Mans Virtual Series nears its end, with the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual finale on 14th-15th January, the championship standings are finely poised.

The $250,000 prize pool is distributed after the final round, which offers double points. Everything is on the line, with the top eight in the standings now still in mathematical contention for overall glory.

In LMP, Team Redline leads the way with the #1 entry, but Bahrain race winners Floyd Vanwall-Burst are close behind, with both resurgent Porsche Coanda cars in third and fourth.

Meanwhile, GTE remains just as open, with eight teams also still in contention. Here, Team Redline also leads with its BMW factory-backed entry. Its closest competition comes in the form of Oracle Red Bull Racing’s Porsche 911, with two fast mid-engined supercars in third and fourth. The works Scuderia Ferrari Velas entry heads SIM Maranello.

$125,000 is up for grabs based on the season-ending championship points, with the remaining half based purely on the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual race results.

The race winner of each category – the same rates in both LMP and GTE – will receive $15,000, and the identical amount will be allocated to those who top the season-long standings.
