Le Mans Ultimate’s first post-v1.0 patch adjusts BoP of new cars

A new update has been released for Le Mans Ultimate, altering the Balance of Performance on both the Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar and Mercedes-AMG LMGT3.

Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Hypercar, Le Mans Ultimate v1.0 review: Genre-leading physics masks threadbare single-player experience

The first patch since Le Mans Ultimate’s v1.0 release has dropped today, introducing a multitude of big fixes and quality of life improvements to the game.

There are several improvements to the game’s lineup of cars and tracks too, with livery updates for the Lexus RC F, Peugeot 9X8, Mercedes-AMG, Alpine A424 and Ferrari 296, alongside minor revisions to the Circuit de la Sarthe.

As ever, LMU’s legion of online racing fanatics will be most interested to hear about the Balance of Performance updates to the game’s two newest cars, the Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 and Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar.

The AMG gains 1% power and loses 5 Kg of mass across all tracks, with its default set-up also receiving some attention. The Valkyrie, on the other hand, loses power at Spa-Francorchamps (-3kW), Le Mans (-5kW) and Monza (-5kW).

However, Aston’s V12 monster sheds 5 Kg of mass at Sebring, Portimao, Spa, Fuji, Bahrain, Imola, COTA, Interlagos and Qatar, keeping it competitive with the rest of the Hypercar field. The Valkyrie also enjoys reduced engine heating rates, adjustable fuel mixtures and updated default set-ups.
