Le Mans Ultimate’s European Le Mans Series DLC has officially broken cover, with Motorsport Games announcing that it will incorporate three separate packs, consisting of three LMP3 cars and three new tracks in total.

As a result, the LMP3 category joins LMU and will become the first in-game car class to be locked behind paid-for DLC.

Pack 1 will consist of Silverstone and the Ligier JS P325 LMP3 car, and will release on the 23rd of September 2025, accompanied by the game’s v1.1 update. More information on these can be found below.

However, two more ELMS DLC packs will be released for LMU in the coming months, which will include the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the Circuit Paul Ricard, the Duqueine D09 LMP3 car and the Ginetta G61-LT-P3 Evo LMP3.

The next ELMS DLC pack is expected before the end of the year, with Pack 3 arriving in Q1 2026, but the distribution of future ELMS content is currently unknown.

Silverstone

Although not present on the ELMS schedule since 2019, Silverstone returned to the series last weekend, leading to record spectator numbers.

Fans were treated to an action-packed race (with typically British weather), and can now look forward to driving on the track in LMU, in all its laser-scanned glory.

Silverstone will be presented in its ELMS guise, so will use the National circuit pitlane and have 44 grid slots. The Grand Prix pitlane, plus Silverstone’s National and International circuit configurations, will be added to LMU at a later date, too.

Ligier JS P325 LMP3

The Ligier JS P325 LMP3 is a 2025-spec machine and provides a perfect stepping stone for teams and drivers wishing to move up the prototype endurance racing ladder.

Powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine, the LMP3 class sits below LMP2 and above LMGT3 in terms of pace. However, with 470 bhp on tap and only 930 Kg to wield, the Ligier is still a formidable racecar, but one that should be much more approachable than LMU’s other prototypes.

ELMS content

Additionally, LMU tracks used by the ELMS will have their grid capacities increased to 44 cars to suit ELMS rules. These tracks will likely be Imola, Spa-Francorchamps and the Algarve International Circuit.

Liveries from the 2025 ELMS season will also be made available for free alongside the ELMS-spec Oreca 07, which is an uprated version of the LMP2 already available in LMU.
