Playground Games has announced that Forza Horizon 6 will appear first on Xbox Series X|S and PC, before a PlayStation 5 version emerges.

According to two members of the Forza Horizon 6 creation team, Microsoft’s next open-world driving game will take the best bits of Japan and condense them into one area. Unlike Horizon 4, however, the nation’s biggest city will be included.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer’s v1.0 release sees new content added to the game, including engine swaps, new aero parts and several new cars.

“The next Forza” was already confirmed for 2026, and the next Forza was already known as Horizon – but just to be sure, we extra, extra, know.

PlayStation players, the latest Tokyo Xtreme Racer will be heading your way, eventually.
