With developer Kunos Simulazioni working on Assetto Corsa EVO, some Assetto Corsa Competizione community members are growing displeased with the state of the SRO-affiliated sim racing title.
Its last significant changes came alongside the 24H Nürburgring pack in April, followed by the Ford Mustang GT3 and the console roll-out of said content.
However, an update to fix some of the pushback and current ‘metas’ could be inbound.

When asked if it was possible to receive a new ACC patch by the Italian YouTube channel Mazz Racing at the ADAC SimRacing Expo, Kunos Co-Founder and Executive Manager, Marco Massarutto said the following:
“We took it into consideration and we are evaluating it.
“The idea is to do an ‘ultimate’ [‘complete’ – when localised to English] patch that… Since we have seen that there have been a few, let’s say, complaints… let’s give it one last..”
Naturally, the diminutive team based close to Rome is fully focused on the impending Assetto Corsa EVO. It will launch into early access in January 2025, for any Competizione update is not expected until after then.
“On ‘25 [ACC support], we don’t give confirmations because at the moment we are completely focused on [Assetto Corsa] Evo,” he said in a separate interview earlier this year.
The title received a moderate update in August, which added a selection of liveries pertaining to the 2024 season.

While console players still didn’t get even the August patch… 🙁
Good point!
