Jimmy Broadbent's Race for Mental Health returns for 2022

Jimmy Broadbent’s at it again, raising money for mental health charity Mind, through the organising and running of a 23-hour, multi-class, iRacing event.

The fourth Race for Mental Health will take place on the 10th and 11th of December, starting at 3 pm GMT on Saturday and concluding at 2 pm GMT on Sunday.

Last year the event raised at least £46,000 and was broadcast live on RaceSpot TV. This time around, the race will be held in memory of sim racer Fabian Van Dooren (AKA HyAcey), a driver for Impulse Racing who sadly lost their life earlier this year.

The aim is to raise money for Mind, in a bid to raise awareness of mental health issues and help those suffering come forward.

Team entries are £15, with all proceeds going to Mind – however, within minutes of the event announcement, all positions were filled.

Once again, the venue is Zolder and this time around the cars will be: Global Mazda MX-5 Cup, Kia Optima and SuperCars Holden V8. Donations are now open online.
