After several delays and a prologue demo, JDM: Japanese Drift Master has finally arrived on Steam. Unusually for 2025, it’s a full game, not an early access demo. If you’re planning on buying it, it’s worth checking the JDM: Japanese Drift Master system requirements to see if your hardware can run it.
JDM: Japanese Drift Master’s system requirements are steep. At minimum, 16gb of RAM, an Intel Arc A580, GeForce GTX1660 or Radeon Rx590 graphics card and an Intel i5-9400F or Ryzen 5 2600 processor are recommended to run the game at low settings in 1080p at a stable 60fps.

However, to get the most out of the open-world drift racer, 32gb of RAM, an Intel Arc B580, GeForce RTX3060Ti or AMD Radeon RX6700 graphics card and an Intel i7 11700k or Ryzen 5 7600 processor are recommended. According to the system requirements, this should enable the game to play in high-quality settings in 60fps at 1080p.
JDM: Japanese Drift Master utilises Unreal Engine 5, which may explain its high system requirements.
