Calling all racing game collectors: the Super Woden GP isometric racing series is getting a physical release, with the new ‘Podium Edition’ bundling the first two games on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
Along with Super Woden GP and Super Woden GP 2, the Podium Edition includes a code to download digital soundtracks from both games.
Although both games are available digitally on Xbox Series X|S, there are seemingly no plans for an Xbox release of the Podium Edition.
From Spanish indie developer ViJuDa, the Super Woden GP games are love letters to motorsports and 16-bit racing games from the 1990s, with an isometric perspective and arcade-style handling with an emphasis on drifting around corners.
Across the two games, players can drive and customise over 250 unlicenced cars, from touring and rally cars to hot hatches on a mix of asphalt and mixed-surface courses.
