iRacing Week 6 marks the halfway point of official racing in 2021 Season 3. Hopefully, thanks to these awesome videos by the one and only Dave Cam, you all watching have been crushing the competition in the Fanatec GT Challenge. At least, if anything, you’ve been keeping it clean and consistent while wheeling the Porsche 911 GT3 R.
After all, that’s what we’re all here for in the latest Track Guide, this time at Spa-Francorchamps. This particular track has been updated this season with the new off-track system in place, so if you haven’t run here in a while, good news! You can use more run-off area, but exactly how much, well, you’ll need to have a look at Dave’s latest video.
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps has 20 corners, most of which have some quirky names that this editor has trouble remembering. There’s Eau Rouge and Raidillon (just don’t mix those two up), La Source, Bruxelles… you get the point. The course is 7.004-kilometres or 4.352-miles in length. The Belgian circuit has played host to many historic events since 1925.
Dave’s got you covered when it comes to braking points, where to apex, and how to keep it methodically smooth lap after lap. As always, if you haven’t yet, check out the other episodes over here on Traxion. Let us know how your Spa week goes in the comments!
