The third week of Forza Horizon 5‘s (FH5’s) Día de Muertos Festival Playlist brings a couple of cars to unlock, a slew of new challenges, a Treasure Hunt and a tricky Photo Challenge. Here’s our guide…
First up the prize cars you can spend your hard-earned points on are the ‘epic’ Ford Bronco Raptor, which is brand new to the game and the Forza franchise, for 20 and the existing ‘rare’ Plymouth Fury for 40 points.
While the latest generation of Broncao has been in Forza Horizon 5 since launch, it’s even on the cover, this tuned-up quick version, the Raptor, is debuting this week via the Festival Playlist.
Treasure Hunt Sinking Your Teeth In
To complete the ‘Sinking Your Teeth In’ Treasure Hunt, you first need to own the electric Jaguar I-PACE 2018, as depicted by the challenge’s menu icon.
“Catch up to your prey across the country as this big cat takes first place,” reads the clue.
‘Across the country’ is the key bit, which we deciphered as completing, and winning, a Cross Country event while using the Jaaaag.
There are several available, just filter the map by cross country races and you can even compete in one previously completed. Simply go to your interest one, like the ‘Festival Cross Country Rookie’ event we raced in here, take part, win and then the larger red dot will appear on the map.
You will find it in the southern region of Mexico, to the right of the Baja California region near the ‘On A Wing And A Prayer’ Showcase event.
In fact, within the red ring, the actual treasure chest is right next to, to the left of, that same Showcase event. Up a gravel path is a rustic building and the chest is sat right outside of it.
Smash the chest and claim the 100,000 credits. Job done!

Photo Challenge #NEWHOME
The Photo Challenge, #NEWHOME, is both incredibly simple and also a little frustrating.
First, jump in the 1998 Nissan Silvia K’s Aero. Then drive up to the Casa Bella house on the map. Again, simple.
You can filter on the map by player homes and it’s located here, in the south, near once again the ‘On A Wing And A Prayer’ Showcase event to the west. Just below the Mulege icon.
Now, the trick is not to enter the house. Repeat, do not enter it, and thus you don’t even need to own it.
Why? Well, you must take a picture with your character standing outside the house and next to the Nissan, and you can’t do that if you enter the location.
Instead, simply drive down the driveway, stop near the house, and enter photo mode (up on the D-pad by default). Then, in photo mode’s filter options, scroll to ‘Character’ and place them outside of the car. Then hit ‘A’ to snap a pic with the car, the building and your character.
Bingo, the challenge is complete!
