Asides from the latest Hot Wheels Expansion DLC, the biggest story from Forza Horizon 5‘s Festival Playlist this month is the arrival of Extreme E, which so happens to be the theme of this series!
The full roster is available to drive throughout the month and features many big names in motorsport, such as Team X44, Rosberg X Racing, JBXE, McLaren XE and many others.
These powerful electric cars are capable of tackling the most treacherous terrain in the world, such as the Saudi Arabian desert or the icy cold surface of Greenland.
The cars you can unlock this week are the Porsche #23 917/20 1971 for 20 points and the Noble M600 2010 for 40 points.
As for the series itself, you can unlock the #58 Extreme E for 80 points, and the RAESR Tachyon Speed 2019 for 160 points.
Tropical Fruits
This season starts off with a Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunt named “Tropical Fruits” and contains the clue “Carting on electric wheels is five times better if you have the skill.”
This challenge can be completed by jumping into an Extreme E vehicle, and earning five Cart Wheels skills, requiring you to smash into a cart that can be found within Mulegé.
We would wait at least a few seconds between smashes to make sure you achieve the required skill.
An Extreme E car can be quickly unlocked by completing the seasonal Boardwalk Danger Sign by using an S1 car to complete the challenge.
Upon completion, the orange circle will appear on the Eastern side of the map, directly to the north of Playa Azul.
The treasure chest can be found next to a wooden boat along the shore, behind three large logs sticking out of the sand. Finally, smash the chest to gain 100 FP and three points towards the season.
COLLECTIBLES CHALLENGE BATTERY POWERED
Returning once again for another season is a collectables challenge, which requires you to smash 20 Batteries in Playa Azul.
This town is located on the western area of the map along the shoreline. The batteries can be found scattered throughout the area as long turquoise cylinders.
Once this challenge is complete, you will unlock the Rimac Concept Two 2019 car alongside 3 points, but while you’re here with this brand-new car, you should consider doing the photo challenge too.
PHOTO CHALLENGE #ISLANDMEMORIES
This week’s photo challenge requires you to jump into the Rimac Concept Two 2019 and head to Playa Azul. Funny how you’re already at this location with the car needed to complete the challenge.
While in Playa Azul, simply open the camera app by using up on the D-pad and tap A to snap the picture to gain the rewards.
Upon completion, the Peach Raúl Urias Sundress reward is yours. This can be equipped by heading to the customise character screen.
SERIES 10 WET SEASON #FORZATHON SHOP HIGHLIGHTS

FORZATHON WEEKLY CHALLENGE THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT
As for the Weekly Challenge, you’re required to jump in the Rimac Concept Two 2019 once again, which you can unlock from the aforementioned Collectibles Challenge.
The simple tasks you’re required to complete this week are to maintain 250 mph / 402 km/h for 10 seconds, win a road race and then drive 10 miles / 16.1 kilometres. A few drives down the long motorway will be enough to complete the final step.
