These few weeks of electric cars in Forza Horizon 5 have done wonders to the soundscape and environment of Guanajuato, which has led to lower noise pollution throughout the landscape and lower emissions.
Oh who am I kidding, it’s a game after all. The cars you can earn this week are the Porsche 356 C Cabriolet 1964 for 20 points, and the KTM X-Bow GT4 2018 for 40 points.
Practical Metal
As for the Treasure Hunt named “Practical Metal”, this comes with the clue “Copper wins in electric conductivity and is used across country”.
This requires you to win the Copper Canyon Cross Country event within an electric car, such as any Extreme E or the Ford Mustang Mach E.
The event is found to the north-eastern area of the map, directly to the north of Guanajuato. The event is currently a seasonal championship event, but make sure to switch it to a normal event by pressing Y according to the prompt on the bottom of the screen.
Upon completion, an orange circle will appear around the start location of the Cross Country event you have just completed.
The Treasure Chest can be found just to the north-west of the Escarpment Speed trap, in between foliage and trees. It can be quite tricky to find, but keep searching along that cliff edge and you will find it.
Once found, simply smash into the Treasure Chest, and the 100FP and three points rewards are yours.
PHOTO CHALLENGE #COPPERCHASE
This week’s Forza Horizon 5 photo challenge requires you to take a photo of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S 2020 in Copper Canyon. The car is available from the Autoshow for 185,000, and the Copper Canyon is located to the northern area of the map, the same area where the Treasure Chest is.
Simply drive through the canyon, open the camera app by using up on the D-pad and tap A to snap the picture to gain the rewards. Upon completion, the Farid Rueda Bear Cap are yours. You can equip these by visiting your home, and selecting Customise Character in the My Festival tab.
SERIES 10 DRY SEASON #FORZATHON SHOP HIGHLIGHTS
This week’s rewards available within Series 10’s Dry season are two cars, a race suit, and a car horn, alongside the always-available Wheelspins.
Both cars are available from the autoshow, with a cheap combined cost of 4,100,000 CR. The available items from the Forzathon Shop this week are:

#FORZATHON WEEKLY CHALLENGE PORSCHE SOUL
This season definitely seems like it’s Porsche’s week to take the lead, as you’re required to jump into the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, which is conveniently also the car used for this week’s Photo Challenge.
Once you’re in this car, you’re required to earn 6 stars at Speed Zones, paint the car’s body and wrapping it up with earning an Ultimate Drift or E-Drift Skill. Easy.
