How to complete the Forza Horizon 5 'Dune Buggy' Treasure Hunt

We’re now into the second week of Forza Horizon 5‘s Horizon Road Trip festival!

I hope you’ve brought enough snacks for the road…

As it is in all seasons of this Road Trip festival, there’s a Treasure Hunt to attend to… but first let’s go over some of the car rewards available this week in the Autumn Storm Season.

The car rewards within this week include a pair of ‘rare’ cars.

The ‘exclusive’ Audi RS 7 2021 is the easier target at 20 points and the ‘hard to find’ Toyota 4Runner 2019 can be yours at 40 points.

Other rewards available in the season include an ‘epic’ Alumi Craft C.10 as a reward for defeating The Trial, another ‘epic’ car in the Bentley Bentayga for winning one of the Seasonal Championships, and a shedload of Super Wheelspins in besting the PR Stunts this week.

Also, some ‘common’ cars can be unlocked as well. This season will provide a way to get the Toyota FJ40, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee and for Hot Wheels Expansion owners, a Chevrolet ZR2.

TREASURE HUNT: DUNE BUGGY

As for the Treasure Hunt named “Dune Buggy”, this comes with the hint “Only a buggy could get so muddy and leave your opponents across the country”.

This requires you to jump into a buggy car and win a cross country race.

Upon completion, an orange circle will appear around the Horizon Baja Outpost.

The Treasure Chest can be found on the southern road below the Horizon Baja festival – leave to the west and smash into the Chest to gain 100FP and 3 points!

PHOTO CHALLENGE #INTOTHEBAJA

This week’s photo challenge requires you to take a photo of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2014 at the Horizon Baja Outpost.

The car can be bought for 45,000CR from the Autoshow, and the outpost is located within the Baja area, that is located within the western side of the map.

Simply drive into the area, open the camera app by using up on the D-pad and tap A to snap the picture to gain the rewards.

Upon completion, the Dial Up Modem car horn reward is yours. You can equip this by visiting the Car Horns menu within the Cars tab.

SERIES 12 STORM SEASON #FORZATHON SHOP HIGHLIGHTS

This week’s rewards available within Series 12’s Storm season are two cars, a jumper, and a car horn, alongside the always available Wheelspins.

Both cars are available to buy from the Autoshow, with a combined cost of a cheap 3,300,000 CR. The available items from the Forzathon Shop this week are:

  • Ferrari Enzo Ferrari 2002 – 600 FP
  • Doodle Jumper – 75 FP
  • Windows Tada Car Horn – 75 FP
  • Deberti Toyota Tacomo TRD 2019 – 400 FP
  • 1x Super Wheelspin – 150 FP
  • 1x Horizon Wheelspin – 60 FP

#FORZATHON WEEKLY CHALLENGE 1107

Considering this week is all about exploring the desert, why not follow the tradition by driving a Volkswagen Beetle?

You’re required to jump into the Volkswagen #1107 Desert Dingo Racing Stock bug 1970, and win a Dirt Race, earn 6 stars from Trailblazers, and finally wrapping it up by taking a photo of the car.
