Hoonicorn vs The World Ken Block challenge now in CSR Racing 2

Ross McGregor

Popular mobile racer CSR Racing 2 has just announced an exciting content partnership with the ‘Hoonigan’ himself, Ken Block. This comes off the back of CSR Racing 2’s (CSR2) Europe Series content update earlier this year.

The title of the new in-game event is Hoonicorn vs The World: Season 2, in reference to the popular YouTube series of the same name, where Ken Block’s daughter – Lia Block – competes against some of the fastest vehicles on the planet in the Hoonigan Racing Division’s very own Hoonicorn. Based on a 1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, the Hoonicorn – or in this case, its second incarnation – is a 1,400 bhp all-wheel-drive car which stars in its own spin-off YouTube series taking on some incredible machinery in head-to-head drag races, piloted by the next-generation of the Block dynasty.

The Hoonicorn vs The World in-game event for CSR2 runs from now until 7th December, and will allow players to earn special parts and new upgrades across a series of 40 races. Also coming to the mobile title is access to many of Ken Block’s previous iconic cars, including those featured in his extremely popular Gymkhana YouTube videos.

CSR2 publishers Zynga have signed a multi-year partnership deal with Block, so one can expect more Hoonigan content in the coming months.
