That’s it, folks. Forza Horizon 5 has gone gold, or in other words, is complete.

In perhaps more positive news, the all-electric Lotus Evija, code name Type 130, will be in the game at launch. It uses a 70 kWh battery and four electric motors to provide all-wheel-drive and 1970hp. Staggering.

For fans of arcade racing games, the Evija, of which only 130 units will be built, has previously appeared in Project CARS 3. In the latest FH5 gameplay footage, we saw it silently carve up the opposition during a dust storm – one of the game new Mexico-themed weather conditions.

It sits alongside several new additions to the Forza Horizon roster such as the Aston Maritn Valhalla, DMC DeLorean, Ford Bronco and Mercedes-AMG ONE.
