GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition was announced last month for Nintendo Switch 2 with an early 2026 release window. However, the Switch 2 port now has a confirmed release date, and it’s less than two weeks away.
GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition will release on 29th January, with pre-orders now live on the Nintendo eShop for £24.99 / $39.99 / €29,99.
Launching four years after the initial PC and console release, the Switch 2 port is helmed by Feral Interactive. The studio has a history of porting Codemasters games, having brought Grid Autosport to mobiles and the original Nintendo Switch.

Like the mobile version of GRID Legends, the Switch 2 Deluxe Edition will feature all post-launch DLC at no extra cost, including the Classic Car-Nage, Drift and Endurance modes, as well as new career and story events and additional cars and tracks.
Optimised for Switch 2, GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition will feature graphics and performance modes alongside balanced and battery-saver modes for handheld play.
Originally released in 2022, GRID Legends features an expansive career mode with hundreds of events, 24 locations and a variety of motorsport disciplines, including open-wheelers, touring cars and trucks.
Other highlights include a story mode with Drive to Survive-style live-action cut scenes starring Ncuti Gatwa from Doctor Who, a Race Creator mode and time trials with online leaderboards.
GRID Legends looks set to be a welcome addition to the Switch 2’s racing game library, as Nintendo’s console currently lacks driving games with authentic motorsport and licensed cars.
