Gran Turismo 7’s seismic Spec III update is set to launch in December, bringing two new tracks, including the Yas Marina circuit Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, plus eight cars. Alongside the fan-favourite Renault Espace F1 and Polestar 5 electric saloon unveiled during Round 3 of the World Series in Los Angeles last weekend, these will include a new fictional single-seater.
Although it was previewed in the announcement trailer, a new video from Super GT recorded during the latest World Series event has revealed new details about the single-seater.
Called the F3500-B, it will boast 719hp and rev up to 13,000rpm, with 300.2 ft-lb of torque at 11,000rpm. Considering it only weighs 1,113 pounds, it should be rapid. Power is provided by a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre engine, but further details remain unknown.

Although it isn’t officially licensed, the styling appears to evoke early 1990s Formula 1 cars. As such, it could have a 3.5-litre, naturally aspirated V8, V10 or V12 based on Formula 1 engine regulations between 1989 and 1994 after turbochargers were banned.
In-game, the video suggests it will cost one million credits, though this may change in the final update.
This is the second single-seater to join Gran Turismo 7’s roster this year, following the mid-engined F3500-A in this year’s January update. That car is powered by a 3.5-litre V12, which sends 773hp to the rear wheels via a six-speed gearbox.
Alongside the F3500-B, Gran Turismo 7‘s Spec III update will add the Renault Espace F1, Polestar 5, Ferrari 296 GT3 Gr.3, Mitsubishi FTO Version R Aero Series and Mine’s Skyline (R34) GT-R V-spec N1.
That leaves two cars left to be unveiled as we get closer to release in December, though a specific launch date has yet to be confirmed.
