The trailer for the next instalment for the Fast & Furious movie franchise, F9, includes cars drifting, jumping, being pickup up by a plane, getting wrecked and even a jet-powered Pontiac Fiero.
So, when you think about it, Rocket League makes perfect sense for a tie in, because you’re rocket-powered, jumping and destroying cars.
The Fast & Furious pack for Rocket League will be available on the 17th June across all platforms and includes the aforementioned Pontiac, which is featured in F9, bundling it alongside the returning Dodge Charger and Nissan Skyline which have previously been available in Rocket League.
The popular multiplayer game has been on a bit of a roll recently when it comes to real-life car-related content, with a concept Ford pick-up truck plus officially licenced NASCAR and F1 packs.
The pack was revealed during the Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live event. Certainly, this makes more sense than last year’s Fast & Furious Crossroads game. Sorry, attempt at a game…
