Forza Horizon 6 release date reportedly leaked

A post on X seems to suggest Forza Horizon 6 will be released this May with a wealth of DLC packs and four days of early access for Premium adopters.

Forza Horizon 6 release date reportedly leaked

An X user has posted what appears to be leaked information regarding Forza Horizon 6’s release date.

Xbox Infinite published a convincing screenshot on social media showing a pop-up for FH6 within FH5, stating the game would be released on 19th May with early access available from 15th May.

The screenshot also suggests that the ultra-rare Ferrari J50 would form part of a pre-order bonus, with seven premium memberships or DLCs reportedly also on the cards.

The veracity of the release date leak is unclear, but a May release window seems to align with persistent rumours from video game analysts. Crucially, it also keeps FH6 away from Grand Theft Auto VI’s unveiling in November, a once-in-a-generation event that will dominate the industry for several months.

The Xbox Horizon ‘leak’ also suggests FH6 will be ‘the biggest open world driving adventure yet’ and include ‘over 550’ cars initially, tallying with numbers from previous entries in the series.

Forza Horizon 6 location to show Japan's “true breadth of beauty”

The news arrives as developer Playground Games prepares to showcase FH6 gameplay footage during an Xbox Developer_Direct stream on 22nd January, where it’s hoped more information on game modes and its diverse Japanese setting will be revealed.

Regardless of the truth of the release date leak, FH6 will arrive simultaneously on Xbox and PC, with a PlayStation 5 version expected to follow at a later date.
