Originally set for release on 10th October, the Super Speed Car Pack downloadable content for Forza Horizon 5 will now launch on the 12th October after consumers who purchased the add-on were greeted with no new cars.
The pack will include four new cars for £3.99/$4.99 outside of the prior Car Pass or Italian Exotics Pack, and was announced during a Forza Horizon 5 ‘Let’s Go’ live stream alongside the game’s latest Festival Playlist challenges.
Despite the game’s patch arriving on the 10th as expected, the Super Speed set does not work. For example, you can purchase it for PC via the Steam Store, but the four new cars will not appear.
The content that’s set to be included is:
- 2022 Volkswagen Golf R
- 2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS
- 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2
- 2019 Elemental RP1
The new release is now two days later, which is hardly the end of the world, although it is far from ideal to charge for content and for it to transpire that said content is not available.
“The delay has been caused by an issue on our backend which will be resolved with the Season change,” posted the Forza Support social media account.
“We apologize for the inconvenience caused, thank you for your patience.”
